		<description>Thanks to Jason Spears, removed the 127.0.0.0.1 from /etc/default/snmpd and it works like a charm. Using shorewall firewall that blocks external snmpd requests so I don&#039;t care about binding it to a specific IP :)

		<description>This was helpful, but in addition I discovered that 127.0.0.1 is hardcoded in SNMPDOPTS in /etc/default/snmpd.  Once I took this out the agentaddress was obeyed.</description>
